General Rental Terms and Conditions
Welcome to our website offering catamaran rentals with skipper included for trips on the Tagus River in Lisbon. Please read our general terms and conditions carefully before making a reservation.
1. Purpose
These general conditions govern the rental of our catamarans with skipper for durations of 3, 5, or 8 hours, providing you with an unforgettable experience on the Tagus River.
2. Reservation
- Reservation Period: Reservations can be made up to 15 days after the current date.
- Procedure: Reservations are made online through our website or by phone.
- Confirmation: Your reservation will be confirmed after receiving a 30% deposit.
3. Payment
- Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total amount is required upon reservation confirmation.
- Balance: The remaining balance must be paid no later than the day of the service, before boarding.
- Payment Methods: We accept payments by bank transfer, and cash.
4. Pricing
- Prices vary depending on the duration of the rental (3, 5, or 8 hours).
- Prices include the catamaran, skipper, and fuel.
- Prices do not include meals, drinks, or other additional services.
5. Cancellation and Modification
- Cancellation by the Client: In case of cancellation by you, the 30% deposit will not be refunded.
- Modification: Any request for modification (date, time, number of passengers) must be made at least 72 hours in advance and is subject to availability.
- Cancellation by the Company: In case of cancellation due to adverse weather conditions or for safety reasons, an alternative date will be offered or a full refund will be provided.
6. Weather Conditions
- Trips are subject to weather conditions.
- The final decision to set sail rests with the skipper for safety reasons.
7. Client Responsibilities
- Comply with the safety instructions given by the skipper.
- Be present at the agreed time for boarding.
- Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
8. Company Responsibilities
- Provide a catamaran in good condition and compliant with safety standards.
- Provide a professional and qualified skipper.
- Ensure professional civil liability insurance coverage.
9. Onboard Conduct
- Smoking is prohibited on board the catamaran.
- Pets are not allowed without prior authorization.
- Any damage caused by the client will be their responsibility.
10. Insurance and Safety
- We have insurance covering passengers in case of an accident.
- We recommend purchasing personal insurance to cover personal belongings.
11. Personal Data
- Information collected during the reservation is processed in accordance with our privacy policy.
- Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
- These conditions are governed by Portuguese law.
- Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge that you have read and unreservedly accepted these general rental terms and conditions.
